Yo Gabba Gabba! has announced that their Cool Tricks contest has launched, providing North American fans a chance for showing off their special and unique talents. A video of 30 to 60 seconds can be uploaded by Gabba fans to demonstrate their Cool Trick for an opportunity of receiving a VIP Family Four Pack and having the winning video played at intermission of “KIA Motors Presents Yo Gabba Gabba! Live!: There’s A Party In My City!” in the show playing closest to the winner’s hometown. In addition, all participants will be entered automatically in a sweepstakes. One fan will be receiving a free five day trip to Mexico or the Caribbean for four people.

Van Shoes made an announcement that they will be releasing a shoe line based on Nick Jr.’s show“Yo Gabba Gabba.” In November the shoes will become available in child sizes only. That makes sense. It’s hard to imagine moms wearing a Toodie pair of sneakers.

Meet the new costars for Jack Black: little green one, yellow robot, blue cat dragon, pink flower bubble and red Cyclops. In an upcoming “Yo Gabba Gabba!” episode entitled “New Friends” the funny man will entertain the colorful creatures from the show, Plex, Toodee, Brobee, Foofa and Muno, and teach them some disco during the show’s segment “Dancey Dance Time” The show will air on Friday, April 3 on Nickelodeon.

It isn’t really a stretch saying that anyone who has seen Anthony Bourdain on the different cable shows that he’s been on has wanted to either punch him in the mouth or go out drinking with him. Those feelings can also change hour to hour. I’m reminded of friends of mine in college who stopped listening to bands just as soon as “120 Minutes” played their videos or when they had bypassed college radio. Still, the guy does seem like he would be lots of fun hanging out with, with plenty of great conversation, drink and food.

Yo Gabba Gabba has announced “Yo Gabba Gabba! Live” tour dates on their official site, in addition to news of an upcoming soundtrack. The tour will star the show’s actual actors, not just stand-ins, making the tour very special. Dates are sure to be sell outs, so tickets should be ordered when they are made available.
